Prerequisites

Participants must:

1. Be younger than 30 years old.

2. If you are not a citizen of the European Union, we will need evidence that you  are enrolled at a university or another institution of higher education. If not available, you can do an internship as a volunteer in an NGO (non profit organization).

3. Have full health insurance for your internship in Spain (also available through our partner language school) and liability insurance.

4.  A minimum of 2 weeks of  intensive course in our language school is required for those with a high-intermediate level of Spanish (High A2 or B1 level in the European Framework of Reference). If you have lower skills, you will have to extend the intensive Spanish course at our school for the necessary period. Please consider a minimum of 6-8 weeks to acquire an intermediate level of Spanish if you are a complete beginner (preferably 10 weeks).

5.  Have sufficient financial means in order to cover costs of transport, food and accommodation during the stay in Spain – as they are training programs, internships in Spain are officially unpaid. However, some of the companies will give a small amount to their interns for their daily expenses.

We will be happy to assist you with your application for a grant or with questions about financing your stay in Spain.

You should, in general, have an open, flexible and social personality and you should be able to adapt yourself to the requirements of a company. In return, you will improve your Spanish skills, get to know Spanish business culture and develop intercultural skills which will be beneficial to your personal and professional development.

If you comply with all the abovementioned requirements for doing an internship in Spain, take the next step .
