Why remote internships?

The greatest advantage of remote internships is that you can do them from anywhere at any time – all you need is your laptop. Whether you’re balancing your studies, a job or family commitments, a virtual internship allows you to build your career from anywhere.

Boost your employability

Gaining online work experience will boost your employability. Having a remote internship with a leading, global company on your resume demonstrates to future employers that you can thrive in a remote environment and have the skills needed to be a valuable asset to their team, such as self-discipline, cross-cultural fluency and digital literacy. These skills are crucial for any career path you choose to pursue, whether it’s remote or not.

Leading companies across the globe are increasingly turning to remote working. This trend has been seen for years but is now accelerating rapidly due to a series of external factors like COVID-19 and climate change.

Global conglomerates are questioning whether or not their brick and mortar offices are strictly necessary. Similarly, studies have shown that flexible working options make for happier and more productive employees. This in turn contributes to a happier and more efficient company, and a healthier planet – a win win.

The labor market now demands talent that thrives in a remote environment. Our remote internships will give you the experience and skills to thrive in a remote environment, and the knowledge to leverage this with future employers.

benefits of The Intern Group programs?

Professional benefits

We provide professional development before your program begins and after it finishes. The tools included in the program enable you to successfully prepare for your internship before you start, make the most of the experience throughout, and then successfully leverage the experience in interviews to future employers. You will leave our program feeling fully equipped to enter the world as a global citizen and future leader in your industry.

Personal development
Getting out of your comfort zone, though challenging at first, is an extraordinary catalyst for growth. Interning in a global organization with different customs than what you are used to will teach you to be more open-minded, accepting and patient. When future employers see on your resume or CV that you completed a global internship, they will be assured of your adaptability, initiative, ability to see other viewpoints and willingness to try new things.

Global network
A major advantage of our internship programs is the community you create, both during office hours and outside of them. Fostering those professional and personal connections can be useful for anything, from career advice to a job recommendation or simply an international vacation. Our global alumni community numbers 10,000+ talented individuals in 150 countries.

THERE'S NO ONE LIKE YOU

You must be familiar with this typical situation when you are unwrapping a highly expected present, while the person who got it for you is staring at you with excited eyes.

As you keep tearing the paper, you get more and more excited because that person knows you really well. So, you think: ‘This has to be exactly what I wanted! I was just talking about it the other day while we were having a coffee. Oh my…. OH MY!’.

Then, you finally get rid of all the wrapping and you realize that THAT present has nothing to do with what you expected.

That feeling…

At Internship in Spain, we understand what that’s like and we don’t want you to feel like that AT ALL.

Every single application we receive is studied by one of our Internship Specialists and then, they analyse the profile of each applicant in detail so that they get to  unwrap the exact gift they were waiting for.

BE YOU,
BUT BETTER

Going to college having some professional training, doing a Master’s Degree…, these are things most people do today.

How are you planning to stand out in such a competitive labour market?

How about you improve your social skills, become better at time management and increase your self-esteem? And, becoming more independent and self-sufficient while you boost your leadership skills.

Doing an internship abroad is a lot more than travelling. It speaks volumes about you.

It says that you aren’t scared of a challenge and that you are mature enough to make big decission such as having an international professional experience with an internship in Valencia.

And this, above all, will boost your employability and open the door to great job offers.

NEVER WALK ALONE

When you travel abroad or just to another city in your country, there are 3 different options: you can use a travel guide, get lost once you arrive in your destination or get to know a local who can show you around.

If you’ve experienced all 3, we are guessing you will agree with us that having someone who knows exactly where to lead the way is the winning option.

So, when it comes to finding the right internship in Valencia and having 24/7 support during your stay, we can be that ‘local’ we were just talking about.

Think of all the peace of mind you are getting, knowing that no matter what you need, we will always have your back.

LEAN CLOSE TO A GOOD TREE

Paperwork. How come something as harmless as paper can have so many enemies?

We get it, you don’t like paperwork. No one does, you could say.

But, we do! We like making sure that all the applicants we work with have all the documents they need, filled in properly and presented before its due time.

Doing an internship abroad is not just packing, catching a plane and flying to a city like Valencia.

It involves a bit more than that. Documents are required, VISA applications may be needed, and they just don’t land on your lap.

So, internship hunting is perfectly safe with us. We walk you through the whole process, we tell you all the exact documents you need, where to find them and when to present them.

Advising is a big part of our job and we love doing it.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF DOING AN
INTERNSHIP IN SPAIN?

1 - GAINPROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

It goes without saying, but we believe it is essential to highlight this. Coming to Valencia to do an internship is going to give you the chance to learn from other professionals, put into practice everything you’ve learned and start writing your own future.

2 - GET TO KNOWA DIFFERENT CULTURE

We know your main goal here is to have some hands-on working practice but you are going to be immersed in another country. A new city where most people speak a different language from yours and those people probably carry a different lifestyle. And that’s another pro of this experience.

You are going to discover a new cuisine, new people, new traditions…. A new you.

3 - BETTER SOFT SKILLS

Life is communication. Just as work is.

In your day to day life here you are going to have to work, eat, live, go out, meet people, travel…. In a nutshell, you are going to come across lots of different people and that is awesome. That is going to provide moments that will help you to grow at a personal level.

4 - LEARNANOTHER LANGUAGE

Language immersion. We bet you are more than familiar with that term.

That’s what everyone recommends doing when they talk about learning a foreign language. And… breaking news! They are right!

Living and working in Valencia is going to give you the opportunity of a lifetime to learn Spanish.

Just practice as much as possible and take advantage of every situation in which you can have a chat with locals.

5 - IMPROVEYOUR PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

Lots of people have higher studies, diplomas, certificates and other applaudable qualifications.

But there isn’t a high percentage of people who pack their bags and decide to have their first contact with the job market in another country. So, that sets you apart automatically and it can bring lots of benefits when facing a selection process
